The D5 module of the WSET® Level 4 Diploma focuses exclusively on fortified wines – a category rich in history, complexity, and global relevance. Objective
This module explores the major styles, regions, and production techniques of the world’s key fortified wines, including Port, Sherry, Madeira, and other regional specialties. You will analyse how factors such as grape variety, climate, production choices, and maturation methods affect style, quality, and price.
